Dr. Manoel Ceciliano: Vice President of Eikon University
An exponent of Capixaba Higher Education who, together with CEO José Carlos Almeida, helped in the development of Eikon University.
Eikon University comes to pay its simple tribute to Dr. Manoel Ceciliano, for his valued legacy of contribution to Higher Education in Espírito Santo.
Manoel Ceciliano studied master’s and doctorate in the areas of Economics and Education in the United States, and is also recognized as the first PHD in Education in Brazil.
In his academic career, he was the first Dean of the University of Vila Velha (UVV), where he served for 20 years. He was also the sixth Rector of the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), from 1975 to 1979, with a management marked by the creation of the Master’s in Education, the institution’s first graduate course.
Dr. Manoel Ceciliano served as professor at Ufes from 1961 to 1985, when he retired, but continued to perform various activities related to Higher Education, including being the Vice President of Eikon University.
